Bullet Train

Cast: Brad Pitt, Joey King, Aaron Taylor-Johnsonn
Director: David Leitch

Aaron Taylor-Johnson punches Brad Pitt’s ticket.

PLOT:
The elite assassin known as Ladybug (Brad Pitt) is on a high speed train aiming to complete his latest mission: retrieve a briefcase full of cash.
Routine stuff, until Ladybug soon realises that he is not the only hitman on board!

REVIEW:
An outlandish group of criminals, each with a quirky nickname, spout humorous dialogue with every breath in this fast-paced action tale with more twists than a pigs…tail.
More Guy Ritchie/Matthew Vaughan than Tarantino, I was rolling my eyes early on.
But, the bonkers characters grew on me, the excessive humour was indeed funny at times and visually the movie was vivid, brash and stylistic.
Unfortunately the twists were mostly predictable and the exposition was too heavy which killed the pace a few times.
There is a strong cast and some entertaining cameos but the casting itself was quite hit or miss.
All in all a decent, (mostly) fast-paced action-packed popcorn movie.
